Are RV Parks Considered Essential?

With an increasing number of state and federal campgrounds closed due to the Coronavirus pandemic, RV travelers are seeking refuge in private RV parks throughout the nation. Unlike state and federal parks, most private RV parks remain open (with restrictions) during the outbreak.

RV Camping During the Coronavirus Pandemic

RV camping not only offers a “mental break” for families struggling to ‘shelter in place,’ RV parks also provide essential products and services to many Americans.

“From full time RVer’s, weekend warriors, and families looking to spend quality time together; guests come to Outdoorsy Yosemite because they feel safer in nature than they do in the congested urban areas. This is their home away from home.”

– Leslie Rowley, Outdoorsy Yosemite

RV Camping and Social Distancing

Since RV parks serve as an outdoor facility for guests to shelter within their own protected environment, campers can travel in an RV without violating CDC guidelines for social distancing. When visiting an RV park, follow measures posted by the CDC, local health authorities, and guidelines outlined by local and state authorities to help reduce the spread of Coronavirus. Practice social distancing at all times, even when exploring nature.

Outdoorsy Yosemite is currently open for business during the COVID-19 pandemic.

At the present time, Outdoorsy Yosemite remains open for business. As with the Nation, we are deeply concerned with the coronavirus pandemic. There is no greater priority than protecting our collective health and minimizing the spread of the virus. Specifically, we are taking measures posted by the CDC and local health authorities, as well as following all guidelines outlined by our local and State authorities to help protect the health and well-being of our team members and guests.
