Everything we get asked most about staying at Outdoorsy Yosemite — rigs and sites, getting to the park, and what to expect when you arrive.
Before you book
No minimum stay for most bookings. Some peak-season holiday weekends may require a 2-night minimum — confirmed at checkout when you select your dates.
We will do our best to accommodate site preferences at booking, subject to availability. Note that specific site assignment cannot be guaranteed at time of booking. Call our front desk at 559-642-3145 to discuss your preference before confirming.
Walk-ins are welcome subject to availability, but we strongly recommend booking in advance — especially for peak season (May–August) and holiday weekends.

Your stay
The seasonal pool is open April through October. Pool hours are posted on-site.
Check-in is 2:00 PM. Check-out is 11:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out may be available subject to site availability — call us at 559-642-3145 in advance to request.
Verizon generally has the best coverage on-property; AT&T service is limited. Wi-Fi is available property-wide, with the best signal at the Adult Clubhouse and office.
Pets
Yes. Dogs are welcome at all site types. The property has two fully fenced off-leash dog parks — you do not need to keep your dog on-leash while at the parks.
Rigs & sites
Pull-thru sites accommodate rigs up to 40 feet. Back-in sites are best at 30 ft. If you have a tow vehicle or need extra clearance, call us at 559-642-3145 before booking and we will find the right fit.
All RV sites have full hook-ups: water, sewer, and 30/50 AMP electric service. Level gravel pads. 30 ft is recommended for back-in sites; pull-thru sites accommodate up to 40 ft. Note: per our Rules & Regs, all RVs entering the property must be RVIA-certified.
Getting here
Outdoorsy Yosemite is approximately 18 miles from the Yosemite South East Entrance (Wawona Road) — about a 30-minute drive to the gate. From the gate, it is an additional 60 minutes of winding road to Yosemite Valley and Glacier Point. Plan for a full day-trip when heading to the Valley floor.
Bass Lake is an 8 minute walk from the property. The closest access is to Bass Lake Marina, where you can rent boats, kayaks, and paddleboards, and grab food at the Pines Village (short 8-minute walk). Note: the property does not have direct beachfront — you will walk down to the marina area.
